I thought this was going to be a copy of the website with search and different areas to go to. Instead it's just a bunch of videos. Disappointed with that but it does have some redeeming qualities. Video okay - just no navigation to what my interests are at the time. I use the cnet website as a reference tool and would like to be able to use the app the same way.

I downloaded the app so I can say how infuriating it is that your website has to autoplay videos. It used to be my favorite tech site but now it annoys me every time when I open it. Sure you can play ads but does it have to play automatically? I will not open your web page again unless the nonsense is stopped.

Frequently pops you back to the top of the article list after you read an article instead of returning you to the list near thearticle you read. More likely to happen when new articles are published or you are looking more than a day in the past, possibly as ads update. The redirect is painful given CNets propensity to have multiple articles on the same item from the same contributor within minutes and days of each other. Added a star after an update fixed the ability to limit video auto play.

I expected to be able to sign in like I can on the website. I do not see that anywhere. I tried to enter a contest. it kept making me sign in to the first form, over and over, proving I'm not a robot, after I tried to qualify for an additional entry, like downloading the app (entering from the app), liking the page on Facebook... REALLY cumbersome unless you just want to read articles... I will be returning to the web page
