New update doesnt allow me to pinpoint the area of NYC I need meals for. For example, I work in the financial district of NYC, and I used to be able to specify the area of Manhattan to search meals, but since the update, it only allows me to select \"New York City\". So meals for the entire Manhattan borough show up now, making it way more tedious and almost impossible to select a meal in my area. This wasn't an update, it was step backwards.

At signup this app asks you to choose a city and then step 2 - BANG - credit card details for a 30 day contract!!! I don't even know what this app does specifically, does it cover my job address and whether or not I will like the food choices that are available in the app. Devs should redesign the signup user journey so people know what exact services they are being asked to pay for. Sorry but as it is I'll have to uninstall this app because of the risk I won't like what I paid for in advance.

you dont really save money with this. it's too easy to not use up all the meals youre entitled to, or forget to pick up a meal you reserved (they dont notify you when it's pickup time). even when you do get a meal, unless you order the first hour you're allowed to, the available restaurants give you the smallest portions possible so you'll have to order more food.

I am the worst person when it comes to bringing lunch to work and I've ended up spending on average $10+ a day going to the same places. With MealPal, I'm saving money on lunch and I've been exploring places I've never tried before, also it forces me to leave the office for a change.

I really do not look forward to using this app daily. It's usually riddled with bugs. The latest update removed the ability to filter location by neighborhood. So now, I see all of Manhattan's offerings rather than just the neighborhood I am in/near. Not helpful!

This app is a data mining festival. Why do I have to rate every meal before ordering a new one. 11 more meals to go and a permanent uninstall. For people wondering, the quantity of food is too little and not enough for a lunch.

It was great the first year but restaurants have started to decrease the amount of mealpal meals. In some cases it's just 1/3 of the regular meal, making mealpal actually more expensive as you pay 6-7 bucks for a very small meal. I rather add 2-4 bucks and have a large meal that keeps me full thru the entire working day.

The actual service is ok, but this app sucks - frequently made unusable by bugs, which is painful when you've already paid! Customer service is lacking too. When it works it's just fine.

Nice app. How can I book two meals on the same day? The current app wants me to cancel the previous booking in order to proceed :(

The app is kind of annoying to use. You can't do everything from it like you can on the web (like edit your plan or put it on hold). And I keep having issues with filtering down to just the meals I want to see (my favs typically). The filter won't stick \u0026 keeps just showing everything single meal! I do enjoy the new pickup using QR codes though. It's super convenient \u0026 I don't have to scramble to look up/print out my order #.
