Easy to navigate app, usually well-sourced and evenhanded in its reporting, and enough variety in its OP-ed staff to not feel like an echo chamber. Well worth the nominal amount of money per year to be at least somewhat better informed. Edit: app has been acting very glitchy lately (couldnt close syories). After my third uninstall/reinstall it seems fixed for now.

Ever since the days of the legendary Katherine Graham; and her fearless management of the WP; through the dark days of \"69 and '70, when Noxon and Kissinger illegally and immorally expanded the Vietnam War into Cambodia and Laos, to the Kent State massacre, to the decision to publish Daniel Ellsberg's Pentagon Papers, I have been a staunch advocate for those brave and principalled writers, editors and printers who have stood for the crucial concept of press freedom. I stll do..

On the whole I like the app, but I wish the news was more balanced. The line between news reporting and promoting the politics of the owner is nin-existent. Why not give bith sides of an jssue and let the reader decide?

Dr. Maynard Crooks

why does it keep switching sideways to another article. it's like a Tinder app...swipe to the side. I'm trying to read an article. Take off the feature please that allows the reader to go side to side. It's irritating

The WaPo is known for world class quality journalism. I think the WaPo has developed the best and most user friendly app. it is the best I have on my phone.

Glitchy, swipes left and right without provocation. maybe too many options for scrolling, jumping around, saving, bookmarking? content is good but the app needs lots of work

Dejah Ortiz

Great reporting and a great app to read it. I also read the NYT, but the Post's app is better.

Best organized news app for all size screens. Love it. More importantly, fearless national and international news coverage

You should have a rate for disabled all the time. I could not take advantage of $25 per year offer due to short time of available offer.

I really like the design of the app, but feel torn between using it or the classic app. The classic app always seems to have more articles and is always more up to date. This one seems to only be updated two or three times a day. I would love it if all the stories on the classic app were readily available on Select, but I do understand that more design work likely goes into the stories for this app. For the time being it's just me juggling these two apps.
